No. We have plenty of space, so bookings are not required.

The long term and short term car parks are right out the front of the terminals at Avalon - both in walking distance.

Yes! SkyBus operates direct routes between Melbourne, Werribee and Avalon. See the SkyBus website for more information.

MyBus operates routes between Avalon and Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast.

Yes, they are limited. You need to select the “Require Assistance” option upon booking your flight.

Not currently. The Airport is open from 4am and closes at midnight. There is accommodation nearby in both Geelong and Werribee.

Check in times are as follows:

  • Domestic Flights: Opens 2 hours prior & closes 30 minutes prior to departure
  • International Flights: Opens 3 hours prior & closes 1 hour prior to departure

The trip takes roughly 50 minutes from Avalon Airport to Melbourne CBD.

SkyBus, rideshare options, taxis and car hire are available.

Yes, absolutely!

 

3thirds has full food and beverage services in the domestic terminal, and a smaller cafe for snacks at check-in. Food options include burgers, pizza, curries, stir frys, eggs done many ways, and more.

Absolutely! Aelia Duty Free is available in both departures and arrivals. OURSHOP is available online via their website.

Most definitely. Just make sure you have your receipts and items on you, and if you intend on packing the item/s into your check-in baggage, please make sure it is seen by TRS officers before you check in.

Yes, in both terminals. On top of that we have many charging points for all your mobile devices - at workbenches right by the gate so that you don't have to move until it's time to board.

Domestically, Jetstar flies between Avalon and Sydney, and the Gold Coast.
